Living in Alaska

I have been having difficulty getting done what I want so a collage of pictures is what it is. I have no idea why some of the pictures came in upside down and sideways and for now I can’t figure out how to flip them. I really wanted a fun video but after hours of trying with no luck this is it.

We haven’t lived in Alaska a year yet but we have been loving it so wanted to share some highlights!! We adopted a puppy who is now only 7 months but is huge, we have embraced the cold (luckily we were eased in slowly with a mild one apparently), learned to ice skate on the lake behind our house, had fun dog sledding, and marveled at the northern lights!! We can’t wait to experience an Alaskan summer.

That is super cool, I have been in Alaska about the same amount of time and I love it here! Is a shame that your video didn’t work out but thank you for sharing the pictures looks like winter was a blast!

I think I know what is happening with the rotated images, but am unsure how to help you fix it. I’m looking into it now!

That said, you did great choosing, explaining, and affixing the license! One thing to note about the NC clause is that it can be confusing for some people, particularly teachers in higher ed or at non-profits whose institutions receive funding through tuition, etc. They will wonder if they qualify as NC (they generally do, but might not think they do)

Thank you! so question is there a way to clarify to teachers in higher ed or non-profits that the material can be used?
Interesting about my pictures on our two days of driving home I looked at my site and the pictures were all upright when I was on my phone. I couldn’t do any editing or responding because I forgot my password and my service was in an out during our drive but I found it interesting that depending on the device changed the orientation of the pictures. Is that by chance somewhere in the settings? Thank you

Great pictures! You are somewhere near Fairbanks if I remember correctly, right?
I have been here a total of 8 years…and this was the hottest summer I ever experienced! It was kind of nice to be able to swim and have water wars in the yard without anyone complaining that they were cold.

Liz, Yes we are in Fairbanks. Are you in this area? For some reason I thought you were in Anchorage. I definitely was not expecting such a hot summer. We have been down south for a bit and now back to the heat and smoke. 🙁
